Kellie Lapp
Executive Director

Kellie started her non-profit career in the early 80’s, taking a position as Office Manager for a small non-profit. Kellie attended college in Oklahoma for two years, married her college sweetheart and started a family.
Kellie joined OHD in 1994 and began specializing in Advance Directive education. After talking with Oregonians and educators on a daily basis for more than 15 years. Kellie knew that the emphasis should not be on completing a form, but on creating a conversation. Simply completing an Advance Directive “document” and checking the boxes was not enough. People often times were confused and left wanting more information. Kellie has worked passionately over the past six years developing and implementing the KEYConversations™ Advance Directive education and training program for the state of Oregon.
Kellie continues to focus on program development, operations and special projects. Working closely with staff and OHD’s Board of Directors, she strives to educate and equip Oregonians to better understand their final health care choices.
